February - Teamwork Makes the Dream Work.
The Imbuko Type[Dev] squad lead the pack at this years Tankwa Trek, their first outing of the year as a full team. They went on to finish 3rd overall in a worldclass field.

March - The Race That Measures All.
From the front of the race, to the back. In 2022 ABSA Cape Epic we had the sweeps, 'the Hyena's', on-board the trusty Anthem Advanced Pro 3's.
We were also blessed to meet and spend some time with the late Sule Kangani from Kenya, a true gentlemen of the sport.

The only African team to win a stage in the 2022 edition of the Race that Measures All.
The rough, rugged terrain was tamed, day in and day out.
Velokhaya had their first outing at the event, we look forward to watching them compete for the Exxaro Jersey in 2023.

September - The Cape Pioneer Trek.
Imbuko Type[Dev] had three teams in the 7 day stage race, two men's and one mixed. All three teams enjoyed stage wins and were crowned overall winners in the mens and mixed categories. Photo ZCMC / Dryland Events.
November - Wines2Whales
Later in the year, we welcomed the Exxaro MTB Academy to the Giant family.
They went on to win the Exxaro category at the 2022 FNB Wines2Whales.
Refilwe and Andisiwe have been on the Anthem Advanced Pro 3 since the Swiss Epic, it's all smiles for this charismatic duo!
We can't wait to watch them #RideUnleashed in 2023!
After winning stage 2, Pieter du Toit and Wessel Botha went on the hunt for another stage win, unfortunately caught in the final few KM's of the penultimate stage.
